Steaming ahead on the poll... Why? Prob easiest throw to learn / pull off?

Been wondering about that. As you say sl, easy to pull off - from a straight punch or a roundhouse.

I trained a bloke who's a copper, his fave to finish a brawl is a full sac valley drop. Bounces the unfortunate drunk back-of-his-head first off the road and can get away with saying "I was trying to hold him back and he pulled me over", CCTV et al. :-))

What works best in competition though, judo/TJJ? - Rob? Andy?

I would say a Body Drop works well in competition, but simply due to the leg sweeping. But I would've thought some of the other throws are a bit more 'fancy'.
