This is probably a very stupid question, (Hey I'm young I've got an excuse) But is there a difference between Ju-jitsu, jiujitsu, BJJ and Jitsu?

One other unrelated question. How long do you have to have done jitsu for before you can enter comps? I think it's a good way to learn your strengths and weaknesses. Thanks a lot

jujitsu, ju-jitsu, juijitsu are all just different spellings of the same thing. All usually refer to the japanese style. BJJ or GJJ refer the the brazilian style that was created by the gracie family.

Blue Belt - Gracie JJ
3rd Degree Black Belt - Shorin Ryu
Red Belt w/ two stripes - Soo Bahk Do
