A great site. Be proud; through this good work you are helping in the proliferation of the martial arts (and jujitsu in particular), the first responsibility of a true martial artist. Well Done! However, we practicing jujitsuans must remember despite the true science of ground grappling, focus on all ranges of combat, not just one.

I have practised and taught judo for about 40 years and have won lots of competions, mostly winning on the ground we all have our individual skills and preferences to how we fight. What I would say is that you can never stop learning, and every martial art has something to offer,if you want to gain more knowledge train with different martial artists.

hello rob!! xx
I have been trying to learn jiu-jitsu on my own for some time now from videos, people that have attended classes, and now the computer. The hard thing about learning on your own is that there does not seem to be alot of pictures that I can find showing techniques. Where I live there are not but a couple of people that have had any training in jiu-jitsu. The computer is my last hope of learning more than I currently know. I am trying to find various ankle locks and knee bars.
I have yet to find anything that has these available unless I spend almost $70.00 for a 50 minute video. If you know of any other web sites please let me know....Mike
