And we all know of the popular Glasgow martial art "F 'cue jitsu" which is mostly headbutts and kicking people on the ground. :-D

sl.....for judo clubs near Liverpool I believe there is one called Samurai Judo, not sure how good and there is Warrington which is very good standard. Better just checking out on BJA website bja.org.uk

North West area gradings are all held at Sutton sports centre, St.Helens on a 3 monthly basis

I've got a copy of the BJJA syllabus. Very much TJJ - a few locking hold-downs but zero grappling/groundwork techniques.

Also seems like a bit of a money making enterprise, though if their members are happy with what they're getting who am I to criticize.
