Dojo code

Our Dojo has a code or if you like a mission statement.I was wondering if any of you work by a similar code.Our code is

I BOW NOT IN SUBMISSION BUT IN RESPECT.I RAISE THE HAND OF PEACE AND LOWER THE HAND OF WAR,I SEEK A HIGHER KNOWLEDGE AND VOW NOT TO SHED BLOOD NEEDLESSLY,EXCEPT TO PROTECT MY OWN LIFE OR THE LIFE OF ANOTHER.

Makes alot of sense my style is traditional japanse jujitsu.Whats your opinons?
