I'm still up for it, though having read on SFUK about Renzo's academy in NY, I think that might be a good idea as well/instead. At least they (nearly) speak English in America.

Alright then, what about a week or so at Renzo's in NY, and a week or so at Royler's in Rio? I'm up for going for longer than that if anyone else is up for it though.
As for times, I think end of Summer/start of Autumn was suggested. Summer here is winter in Brazil, but I think that their spring and autumns are still plenty hot anyway.

Well i'm starting work in Newcastle on 27th of this month, so moving prob next Monday.
Give me a bit of time to get settled and get saving, then I'll whizz out the credit card for the trip.
Aug/Sept time sounds great for me, don't think it'll look too good to start work then take a few weeks off straight away. :o)
And as long as possible for me, it's not gonna be a regular thing so why not make it a trip of a lifetime sorta thing, sorry, that did sound awfully gay!
i've got abt 4 weeks holiday i reckon before April when it gets reinstated, so not too fussy abt going for as long as possible.
Anymore thoughts? Anyone got prices for flights/hotels/etc. in NJ and Rio? Or any contacts around the place?

I thought Barra as well, apparently if you tell them you're coming, they'll help you sort out accomodation, and give you deals on training etc. I only said Royler's school since Rob wants to train with Royler.
Yes Rob, that did sound gay, but I'm used to you/it by now. Two weeks, a month, it's all good for me...I hardly ever use much time off anyway (until I have to get rid), so that won't be a problem. Getting the money will be fine too, especially as it's cheaper over there.
Flights I'm going to start looking into, and as for training and accommodation, I think Renzo's place does the same thing as Barra if you tell them you're coming- they'll help you find somewhere to stay etc.
But as the ladies know (and Rob wants to find out), I'm easy.

Possibly gain more, and i can see where you're coming from, but a trip like this ain't gonna be a regular thing, that's why i reckon it'd be excellent to make the most of it and go mad, 2-3 weeks visiting different academies.
Definately wanna do some time in the US and then visit Rio.

big waste of time and money, if you travel around you dont make those connections where the guys at the academy will learn your game. you will loose training time whilst jet lagged, loose time while traveling. loose thousands of dollars in airfare and hotels.
i wont be coming if this is what your doing. its up to you guys do it if u want, i just cant waste time and money like that
Dunno, I wanna use it as a holiday as well as just for training. So while it'd be good to properly make connections with people and all that, it'd also be nice to see a couple of different places while we're out there.
I suppose it depends on what Adam thinks as well- it was his original idea after all, and I only suggested New York cos it'd be a cool place to visit and Renzo's place looks well good.
Like I said, I'm easy, but I'd really like to go to both places.
A nice idea would be 2 weeks in NY, 2 weeks in Rio, but that's gonna be a bit expensive. Could maybe do one week in one place and two in the other?
We'll have to see what everyone thinks really, also check and compare flight prices...and maybe ask around see if anyone else wants to go. Adam might not even want to do NY at all. Like I said, that was just my idea to see other places and split up the journey.

lads, apologies for not replying sooner. been well busy. the NY idea sounds pretty cool and i've been toying with the idea of going to renzo's myself. would prefer to chat about it in person tho. come training you lazy b@stards.
I'm injured (Dom's fault), should be back next week since it doesn't hurt as much now. And that's a real 'should be back', not a Rob Brown stylee no-show 'should be back'.
I'd come down tonight just to watch, but I'm having my inside leg measured by a gay man. Don't ask.
Speak to you next Monday or Wednesday or something.
