In bjj

wrist locks, achilles, toe hold, kneebar, calf crushes ok for brown and black

NO HEEL HOOKS, NECK CRANKS, SPINE LOCKS or anything that TWISTS THE KNEE

in adcc

no spine locks (inc some neck cranks), small finger manipulations and other obvious stuff

how do you catch someone in a rear naked choke if they can use a wrist lock against you?
andy Resident 729 posts
thats a silly question, how do you catch anything when your opponent can do something to counter it?

You can't get out of a submission once it is fully applied, that's the point in submitting. With someone applying a full naked choke, it is very easy to reach back with both hands to attack a single wrist of the opponents.
sl Resident 855 posts
i cant see you being able to land the wrist lock or even secure the leverage to apply it.....:-p
