One powerful kick!

Yeah, he managed to time it and use his momentum well to get his weight behind it. It looked like he didn't need to extend his leg very strongly.
I do wonder what they think they are doing without gloves on, seems kind of irresponsible to me

Good point - I never noticed that myself. If you're gonna go full-force with kicks, then surely they were going full force with the punches also.

Maybe no head shots, but that still doesn't lessen the blow to some lucky body shots.

Has anyone else seen that sort of thing in person (maybe at their own club)?

The guy that scored the kick was aiming punches to the head, got a good right to the guy's chin
