Any technique that works is effective, but if you mean what is your favourite technique then for me from a judo background it is okeri eri jime or slding collar choke.

A good, and easy move if you get the back with a gi.

One of my fav's, but too tricky in matching all of the above.

I'm more of an armbar guy myself...

btw, that's the sort of size I'm talking about Andy for your site, it's simply a case of copy and paste from YouTube.

Change the height to 335 to get rid of the white border top and bottom.

Haven't done it in a long time, but I remember triangle choke from the bottom worked best for me.
