First session back training after a good 2-3 years, not too much of a killer warm-up which was good, so managed to get a lot out of it without being on life-support in a corner.

Getting there was a ball-ache, trains cancelled, tube terminating one stop too early, etc.

Obviously forgotten a few things here and there but surprisingly remembered a fair lot, just need to practice applying the techniques again.

To top it off, during one of my last fights managed to pull off a nice arm-bar escape, well chuffed there, quite weird how things just pop back in your head after so long.

Legs aren't happy, not happy at all, got a sneaky feeling they won't wanna budge in the morning, but hopefully 2 days resting-ish should get me back ready for Saturdays class.

Got a week off work in a weeks time so gonna aim for the Mon+Wed+Fri lunchtime classes.

Little bit more expensive than what I'm used to, but actually what I was expecting to train with Roger Gracie.

By the way Andy, is it Roger or Hoger? I heard a few different variations tonight.

Reet, time to soak some unhappy muscles.

Looks like I won't be there on Sat, legs still not happy, so it'll be Monday i reckon.

Btw Andy, was that a "normal" warm-up, or are there occassional killer ones?

that was relatively nice.

dont wimp out, come tomorrow, your legs will be fine by then. if you had a hot bath after training that is why you still ache.

I thought a good soak was meant to be good for knackered muscles? :-/

I don't think you realise just how out of shape I am, literally no exercise for over 2 years.

Btw, did ya catch my nifty arm-bar escape? :-D
