Hi everyone; I'm still training and enjoying it. Little snag though. We've been practicing passing the guard techniques and my left knee is very stiff and its been three days now. I've used ice, heat, message and stretching; is this normal?

not for me, try some knee stretches (not that i know of many)- if it continues see your GP - prob best thing to do
one knee exercise: feet shoulder width apart, bring your knees together, place your hands on your knees (right to right left to left) and work your knees in a circular motion enjoy "The first and greatest Commandment is, don't let them scare you"
