Backward Rolling Breakfall - Orange Belt Traditional Jujitsu

Backward Rolling Breakfall

This technique is used to land properly on your back and then to roll away from danger.

It is shown here as someone pushes you.

To perform the back breakfall, tuck your chin into your chest and fall onto your back throwing your arms out to the side to break the fall.

Now roll over one shoulder and come back up to the fighting stance. You should be facing the direction from which you just came.
