A front snap kick is used to strike your attacker in the groin from a close distance.
Starting in the fighting stance opposite your opponent.
Bring the knee of your rear leg upto the height of your hips.
Snap your foot out to land the strike.
After the kick, you should place your right foot on the ground in front of your left foot. You have now closed the distance between you and your attacker ready for more strikes and/or throws.
